Do you need more help with the food? Or should I go tell the other that it will be ready soon?

[looks around the room once more - there is nothing else he thinks they could use]

[briefly thinks of showing her his tree... but he can do that later]

Should we go? I think the classrooms are most probably empty now because there is nothing in there, just chairs and tables...

[there are not even books for them to teach themselves new things]

[grabbing you and we're going son]

We have no time to be wasting!

[feels his insides rattle at that slap, but manages to stay quiet]

[even smiles a little as he picks the knife back up to cut the chicken (or whatever else she wants) next - it probably won't be so bad, eating together with everybody...]

[but no, he can't trust these people, nice as many of them are]

[they are still people]

[the only one he can trust is his snoubenka]

[and so the investigation starts]

[naturally all screws turn out to be massive, tightly shut and unbudgeable despite all efforts]

[an hour later the tools look a bit worse for the wear, and their owner disappointed and exhausted]

I am sorry... Yuri trapped us very well.

[gasp]

You poor dear! You are all pooped out! Ah, come here, come, come, we must have you lie down.

[yep back to your room]

[it's the closest one, anyway]

Pooped out..?

[that sounds unpleasant - but then again their whole situation isn't very pleasant]

[sits down on his bed once they are in his room, more frustrated than tired]

[looks at her, trying to find a starting point - they should probably discuss how to proceed; what if one of the others snaps and tries to kill one of them, or anyone, really? how can they prevent that? but he has no ideas]

[just sighs]

[well, hey, that bed looks comfy]

[lying down right next to you and playing a bit with the covers' hems]

I was sure that that would work...! Ah, how shall we escape now?

I don't know. I really don't know.

If we could catch Yuri... but no, I think he would not let us out even if we threatened him or hurt him.

[sighs again and lies down too]

I just hope that no one will kill somebody again! Those photos Yuri gave us... they made people want to get out even more.

[yawn] Perhaps we will find another solution!

[stretch]

It will come better to us with a nap, yes?

[more stretching and yawning. then a quick smooch on your mouth]

Tomorrow is one more day. --And good night, dear.

[suddenly asleep and snoring lightly]

[a bit startled at the kiss - he isn't used to getting those yet]

[but before he can reply in some manner she's... asleep?]

[what is he supposed to do now? take her keycard and go sleep in her room? he doesn't want to wake her up]

[maybe it will actually feel safer to sleep together, and if someone knocks on the door in the dead of the night neither of them will be alone]

[gathering to discuss the new rooms would probably be a good idea.]

[not walking around alone would definitely be a good idea.]

[for now, though... stealing the sheets from one of the beds in the infirmary. And pillows, if there are any.]

/so guess who woke up intentionally early and has piles of waffles and sausage and scrambled eggs and a large pot of coffee, all for you people

/not enough sleep happened though, so prepare for grumpy chef

[that's right, the cafeteria is probably the safest place to go.]

[eyes Bri's food, wanders right past to grab some carrots from the storeroom, and sits down with those to chew on.]

[that food smells delicious, but... just going to wait and observe a little bit before trusting it not to be dangerous.]

[crunch. There, an excuse, too busy chewing on carrot to give a good answer.]

You can't possibly tell me you'd rather eat rabbit food instead of waffles and perfectly cooked sausage patties and scrambled eggs. I saw you staring at it, don't lie to me and say you didn't.

[eyes the food again. These carrots suck...]

...'m not that hungry. You want to split a waffle with me?

Are you really only going to eat half of a waffle? It really is no wonder you're so small.
