[he still isn't entirely sure if Tony's friend really killed her, and if so, if she did it in cold blood and without regrets]

[and that boy Yuri killed... he just lost his nerves; he didn't deserve to die like that]

[sits down on the chair behind the desk closest the the blackboard]

[wants to ask him if he is okay - if he's desparate to get out of the school, to find out what happened to whoever he received a photo of - but he can't bring himself to: what if he triggers exactly that reaction?]

[just stares at him]

I don't know... I can't figure it out. Why she would do it... I mean, if there's a way in, there has to be a way out. Surely we can find it, we just need to... stay calm.

I think we all have to help each other now. If one of us has a panic the others have to calm him or her down.

Lumberjack. Though it feels like these titles don't mean anything anymore...

If there is a key I'm sure Yuri has it. Or maybe it works with a, um... an electronic s-system? And only Yuri knows the code?

Uh, sorry, no, my name is Lev... my title is "Lumberjack." I got confused.

[stares at him with a level of shock fit for a murder scene]

[how can this boy still look so innocent?! how can he have such a friendly face and such a friendly voice when he kills trees in cold blood?]

[oh, he should have known-- he shouldn't have trusted anybody here-- they seemed nicer than many people he met, but they are still just that, people]

Do you like it when they fall down? Do you like it when they groan and break? You-- you enjoy that, right? You are proud when you have killed another tree!

Do you-- d-do you have a-any idea how long a tree needs to grow big and tall? How many, many years? And you just-- you just--!

[clenches his fists]

U-Uh... But we need to, we need them for heat and building...

[what the hell is this kid going to punch him? he takes a step back...]

Yes, people needed them for that, but-- but now they cut down much too many! A-and they don't plant enough new ones, and if they do, then those new trees are from a tree farm far away-- and you have no respect for the trees-- and all that's made out of them is paper, and that could be made out of other things instead! H-houses are made from stone or, um... cement now! And people have heating that works with gas and hot water! And if they want to have a fire it can burns with coals and other things!

[walks up and stops right in front of him, practically shaking with anger]

I'm surprised that it's not you who killed Tony! Or did you? Maybe you did, and then you told Pitch to say she did it, or else you'd have killed her too? Or maybe someone she likes?

[hoooooooooooooly shit]

[he's sweating a little bit]

C-Calm down, it's just trees... They can't feel anything, they aren't really alive... B-Besides, the village where I'm from, cutting down trees is very important to keep warm for the winter... If I didn't help out, we might not survive.

[he steps back a little further]

...And don't be ridiculous, Pidge admitted she did it...

[literally snarls at "they aren't really alive"]

"Just" trees?! Without trees we would all be dead! And they are alive, they are!

[stares him up and down]

And you're sure she said the truth? What if you secretly w-work with Yuri, just like Roma?

[the survival argument dampened his anger a little, but he doesn't let it show]

[some part of him knows he's being unfair, but then again people are always, always cruel to trees, so isn't he right in being angry?]
