[You all descend down a large elevator - at least, those who are alive. It's a huge, non-descript elevator with no music to make it any less creepy. At the bottom floor, which it automatically descends to once everyone is inside, there's a large circle of podiums with placards of photos - photos of them: Jonah, Pidge, Missy, Lev, Janssen, Maria, Nemo, Jakub, Saira, Alex, Aurelia, Bri, Prudence, and Geoffrey. Tony and Jack's portraits, while there, are scratched out with red ink. Sitting atop a small platform is Yuri, lounged out casually in a large chair. ]

Come in, come in! Find your spots and we'll begin the trial!

[Eventually it seems everyone is settled in their spots, and Yuri sits back in his chair, steeping his fingers.]

So, the gist that you have to accuse someone of being the culprit in this case! You do this by voting. Democracy is the wave of the future, after all! The time limit is until I'm bored! And if the gathered votes are wrong, you all die, alright?

...Oh, and by the way, you dumbasses, there is a murderer amongst you. I'll show you the video once you've voted.

[He motions at them, smiling.]

I still don't think that's a reliable test. But I suppose it wouldn't be too hard to round up everyone who did laundry overnight.

Not at all, unless someone was lying about it. In which case we'd have to smell everybody's clothes if no one fesses up.

[Ew.]

[He's not sniffing anyone's shirt pits.]

He won't have to be. 'Cause I washed my clothes.

[Wouldn't want Jonah to waste his time finding out her clothes smelled fresh]

[That puts her in the list of suspects, doesn't it?]

... Ah, there's one person for the list then.

Yeah, but did she see my shirt in the machine?

I don't know, you ask her.

[He steps back so the two can talk.]

[This seems important somehow.]

Did you see anyone go in before you? Was there anything on it?

No. I just found his shirt inside.

Did you do anything with it? How do you know it was his?

[He'll ask her a million questions about the shirt if she lets him.]

I didn't know it was his.

I gave it to him. [points at Nemo]

I only know it's his now because he's wearing it.

... Oh.

[Well there goes his idea.]

So we're looking at sewing kits and clothing. It would be easier if we could get everyone to line up and show what they have all at once...

[Not like that would happen. He scratches his head.]

You don't have to, 'cause I killed her.

[There's no way out of this situation, so it's better to get it over with at least]

[Stare.]

You what?

[He recoils, stepping back several times.]

You're- you're not just saying that to get this over with, are you?! Why the hell would you- WHY?!

I just need to get out so I can take care of my kids! I can't let them sit home alone.

Do you realize what you've done?! You've KILLED SOMEONE, and now you're going to be killed too!

[His fists ball in rage. He wants to punch her.]

How could you be so utterly stupid?!

If you were as dedicated as me, you'd kill someone to fulfill your duty too.
