Are you sure that wasn't just an act?! I've never seen- he just waved a stick at her!

[Still pacing.]

What's the point? Why? Why why why why?

[not about to stop you, watching you pace keeps him from freaking out]

How could it be? That girl is murdered, the other killed her and paid for it. [swallows, this is not what he came to this high school for]

Fuck if I know. This guy's a sick bastard...

[Augh! He pulls at his hair and shakes his head.]

We have to get out of here!

We'd better look for some exit, then...

[That went so well last time.]

You'll help me, right?! We have to do something.

[What's the other option? Death? No, there's always another way!]

What, you think I'd just lay around and let myself get killed? No, I'll find a way out of here so this guy can't get his fucking sick joys. Er... I mean... Yes, I'll help.

[well according to Yuri the other way is murder but who cares what that guy says he's a jerk]

[He just nods in reply and resumes his pacing, thinking.]

[What would a third option be?]

[Would they have to kill the one behind this all? Can they?]

[leans back against the wall and crosses his arms]

Probably just treat it like a regular murder if you kill the baton guy, and you get killed if you try to go after the one in the suit... Shit...

[there must be some way... hmm]

[Suddenly he stops and looks up at him.]

What's their relationship? Those two, what do they know about each other? They seem more familiar than just acquaintances.

[His frown deepens.]

Are they accomplices? If so, why would Yuri risk his life?

[blinks] Er...

[stops and thinks for a while]

Maybe... the baton guy controls Yuri, but if he dies, Yuri becomes free, so...

[just like in one of his Japanese animes]

[Stare.]

No way, Yuri's in complete control of the situation. If it were anything like that it'd be the other way around.

[He thinks more.]

Maybe they do have something to do with one another, but one's expendable to the other? This is confusing.

I suppose that would make more sense. If he had control, why would he be a player in the first place...

[man this is hard]

That Yuri... he said he wasn't living or dead. Maybe this is how he gets power? I don't know.

Not living or dead? What, you mean like a ghost? Don't be silly! Ghosts don't exist!

[shrugs] Fuck if I know what it means. That's just what he said.

[He refuses to believe in the paranormal. It's not like it exists! Besides, if it did, teacher would come visit him, right?]

[He shakes his head.]

There has to be another explanation for all of this. Something we can prove!

[but what if the paranormal believes in you?!]

[nods] There must be some trick to whatever the fuck was up with the baton thing. If we figure that out, then maybe we'll be able to figure out what this guy's deal is...

[Impossible. Improbable!]

Think there's a way we can get it from him? Does he have a room like us?

I think so. If he's among us, then he has to be in one of the rooms.

[He nods, and starts pacing again.]

The baton would have to be retrieved from him outside his room, though. The security for our rooms is high, so what's keeping him from just hiding in it?

Needs to come out for food sometime, I guess. Er... Unless Yuri brings it to him...

[allow, if you will, a beautiful image of flight attendant Yuri bringing Roma a tray of snacks and drinks, to enter your head]

I guess that's true, but I don't think it's very reliable.

[Pause.]

But, uhm, if he's killing people with his baton, does that mean he's even a threat, otherwise? What motive would he have for killing people if he had to do it anyway?

Probably not a threat. We've seen what happens to people who get killed by it, so we'd know right away if he tried again. As for motive... fuck if I know. Maybe he thinks helping Yuri will get him out of here faster?

[That last option's more possible. He frowns and continues his pacing, constantly moving to keep down the impending panic.]

What should we do? What do we do? I don't know what to do!

[Grasping at straws, that's all they're doing.]

Getting his baton seems the most dangerous of the options, so let's continue fighting to find a way out!

[nods]

If Yuri keeps getting food in, there must be some way he's getting supplies in. We find that, we find our way out.

[He nods and stops.]

Uh, don't the kitchens close at night?
